2026 Summer Reading Literacy Activity Choice Board (Pre-K – 3rd Grade) ☀️
Winslow School #3 families, summer is the perfect time to keep young minds active and growing through reading!Research shows that students who read regularly during the summer are more likely to maintain and strengthen their reading skills. To support our students, we are excited to offer the 2026 Summer Reading Literacy Activity Choice Board for students in Pre-K through 3rd Grade.
Students are encouraged to:
✅ Select one or more books from the recommended reading list.
✅ Complete activities from the Literacy Activity Choice Board.
✅ Share their creativity and understanding through fun reading-related projects.
✅ Challenge themselves by completing as many activities as possible before returning to school in September!
Whether your child chooses to draw, write, create, perform, or explore other ways to respond to their reading, every activity helps build literacy skills while making reading enjoyable.
We know that when you read a great book, you can't wait to tell others about it! This summer, show us what you know and let your love of reading shine.
